Thanks to this project, implemented by the Cinematheque of Macedonia and production, our block, and with financial support from the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Culture, about 3,500 children attended 24 free screenings of short animated films intended for their age.
"There is no doubt that movies for children are really important segment of the seventh art. Interesting and seemingly less serious, these films bring to life lessons and subtly educate the young population is our biggest concern, "said State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Darko Stefanovski.
According to the Director of the Cinematheque of Macedonia, Mimi Gjorgovska-Ilievska, the realization of this event gives hope for the revitalization of Cinematheque activity in Macedonia. Estimates of films for children in the cinema Cinematheque of Macedonia, to the delight of the young population will continue in the same term to the end of the school year.
