OHRID blend of history and modern life
The town of Ohrid tourist, cultural and spiritual center of Macedonia. This city has a history of continuous life of human community than 7 000 years and is one of the oldest in the world, along with Jerusalem, Rome and Istanbul today.
Ohrid is located at an altitude of 695 meters and is the largest city on the shore of Lake Ohrid, which is estimated to be about 3 million old and is one of the oldest lakes in the world. The lake is rich in endemic flora and fauna and with the town of Ohrid is placed on the list of UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
